New to EJHS this year is "The Golden Tiger Award"! This award does not have an academic requirement like the SOM award. We want to recognize those who are often not eligible for SOM because of grades, attendance, or lack of participation in school activities. This is for those students who are doing great things in school, working on themselves, continuously trying, having positive attitudes and lifting others up. There will be a senior high and a junior high winner. We are happy to share the winners for the month of November!
Jr. High Winner: McKenzie Traxler- She's always so curious, personable, and cheerful!
Sr. High Winner: Donnie Beschorner- He makes it a point to tell me "have a good day" every time he leaves my class. He has done this for any class I have been in charge of and now as a learning support math teacher. He also often makes sure to ask "how are you doing?" to me. He is respectful of me and of others. Having known him since at least 7th grade, I have seen him really mature over the years.
