Parents, guardians and students of the Juniata County School District: We hope you had a relaxing summer and continue to enjoy the last remaining days of our break. On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, tentative schedules and class lists will be available on Sapphire. Our open house is scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Our first day of school is Monday, August 25, 2025. Also, please remember that the Juniata County School District offers very flexible online options that match what online charter schools offer. Be sure to contact your child’s school if you are interested in learning more about your educational options. See you soon!
It's still summer vacation, but it's important to remember that we have the following deadlines coming up for fall sports:
Football :
7/30/25- ALL paperwork (including physical form) and fees ($35) must be submitted.
8/4/25 - First Practice
Cross Country, Soccer, Cheerleading:
8/5/25- ALL paperwork (including physical form) and fees ($35) must be submitted.
8/11/25 - First Practice
There will be a collection night and parent/player meeting on Wednesday, July 30 at 7:00pm at Juniata High School. All athletes and parents are highly encouraged to attend if they are anticipating playing a fall sport.
No athletes will be able to practice on the first day of the season if the paperwork (including the sports physical) and the $35 fee are turned in beforehand.
