THE WITF Central PA Spelling Bee covers 11 counties in the Central Pennsylvania area. This year, we had 71 schools registered with Scripps to participate in our bee. There were over 200 school champions who had the opportunity to take the written portion of the bee. DANIEL LOPEZ is one of the 35 top spellers who have advanced to the WITF Grand Championship Oral Spelling Bee on March 19th. The speller who wins our Central PA Bee will advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee to be held in National Harbor, DC in early June. CONGRATULATIONS DANIEL -- and GOOD LUCK on March 19th!!!
