Parents, guardians and students of the Juniata County School District: We hope you had a relaxing summer and continue to enjoy the last remaining days of our break. On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, tentative schedules and class lists will be available on Sapphire. Our open house is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Our first day of school is Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Also, please remember that the Juniata County School District offers very flexible online options that match what online charter schools offer. Attention all fall sports athletes!! The paperwork and activity fee for fall sports will be collected Thursday, July 30th from 4:00 - 6:00 pm in the cafeteria at Juniata High School. Please make sure all paperwork (including the physical form) is complete. The activity fee is $35 - please bring exact cash or a check made payable to "Juniata High School." If you can't make it that day the paperwork and fee can be dropped off at your home school between 8:00 a m and 2:00 pm. You can not practice or play until everything is turned in.

Parents/Guardians: Free sports physicals are being offered for current students in grades 6-8 who will be playing a sport during the 2026-2027 school year at Tuscarora Junior High School on Friday, May 22, 2026. If you wish to have your child receive a sports physical please complete the PIAA sports packet (with the exception of Section 6) and return it to school as soon as possible. Packets are located in the school library. If you wish to have the PIAA sports physical completed by a private physician, you may do so. Once Section 6 of the sports packet is completed, it should be returned to the school prior to the start of the sport. Any sports physical that is completed after May 1, 2026 will meet the requirements for students to participate in fall, winter, or spring sports next school year.
